The project

A satirical game made for Mother London to poke fun at events surrounding the 2014 world cup. The goal is for the player to feed him as much of his favourite items as possible while discarding those he doesn't.

The Build

The game was built primarily for mobile devices however also works well on many desktop browsers. One of the biggest challenges of the project was to manage the transitions between the various 3D animations (created by Coffee and TV) and to synchronise these with the constant verbal ramblings spewing from Blattr himself.

This task required heavy use of HTML5 audio and thorough device testing to ensure compatibility with our list of supported devices. Something which made this task easier was our choice of game development framework, in this case Phaser.io, which provides a very robust implementation of audio sprites.
